A narrow practice means we know the officers, the formats and the failure points in each of these routes rather than guessing at forty.

CDSCO
Central licensing routes under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, from import registration to manufacturing approvals.
Cosmetics

Plant Setup & Projects
Layouts, project reports and turnkey support for new food, nutraceutical and cosmetics factories.
FSSAI licences are now perpetual, and the turnover slabs have moved
With effect from 1 April 2026, FSSAI registrations and licences carry perpetual validity, so the renewal cycle is gone. The thresholds changed at the same time: Registration up to Rs 1.5 crore, State Licence up to Rs 50 crore, Central Licence above that.
Many businesses can now migrate to a lower tier. Before you do, check whether an activity trigger such as import, export or e-commerce keeps you on a Central Licence anyway, and check what tier your buyers have written into their supplier agreements.

|---|---|
| Registration | Up to Rs 1.5 crore |
| State Licence | Above Rs 1.5 crore up to Rs 50 crore |
| Central Licence | Above Rs 50 crore |
Import, export, e-commerce, multi-state operations and supply to Central Government agencies require a Central Licence irrespective of turnover.

A fixed scope, a real timeline and someone who answers the phone
Licensing work goes wrong in predictable ways: incomplete files, missed reversion windows and sites that were never ready for inspection. Our process is built around removing those three.
- 1
Tell us what you make
Product list, premises, turnover and where you are in the project. A 20 minute call is usually enough for us to see the whole picture.
- 2
Get a written scope
You receive the licences that actually apply, the documents to arrange, the realistic timeline and a fixed fee. No open-ended retainers.
- 3
We build the file
Technical annexures, FSMS plans, layouts and dossiers are drafted by us. You supply company documents; we write everything technical.
- 4
Filing and follow-through
We file, respond to every query within the reversion window, and prepare your team for inspection so the visit is a formality.
- 5
Handover that lasts
Licence, record formats and a compliance calendar, so the system keeps working after we leave.
Client feedback
What manufacturers say about working with us
“We were stuck between a State and Central FSSAI filing for our multi-SKU supplement line. Foodlinedocx mapped the correct category codes, rebuilt our FSMS annexures and got the licence through without a single reversion. Clear scope, fixed fee, and someone who actually answered during the inspection week.”
“Our cosmetics unit needed a COS-8 manufacturing licence and a layout the licensing officer would accept. Their CAD drawings and documentation pack saved us from a rebuild mid-project. Professional, on time, and practical about what the authority would ask for.”
“From DPR to FoSCoS filing for our nutraceutical plant, the team handled licensing and Schedule IV readiness as one project. We appreciated that they told us what we did not need, not only what they could sell. Strongly recommend for first-time manufacturers.”

Frequently asked questions
Which licence does my food business need?
It depends on your turnover and your activities together. From 1 April 2026, Registration covers turnover up to Rs 1.5 crore, a State Licence covers up to Rs 50 crore, and a Central Licence applies above that. Import, export, e-commerce, multi-state operations and supply to Central Government agencies require a Central Licence regardless of turnover.
Do nutraceuticals need a drug licence?
No. Health supplements and nutraceuticals are regulated as food by FSSAI under the 2016 regulations, not by CDSCO. A drug licence is only relevant if the product is genuinely a drug by composition or by the claims made for it.
Do you work outside Delhi NCR?
Yes. We are based in Delhi and work with manufacturers across India, filing with FSSAI centrally and with State Licensing Authorities in the relevant state. Site visits are planned into the project where the work requires them.
Can you guarantee the licence will be granted?
No consultant can, and you should be wary of one who says otherwise. What we take responsibility for is the quality of the file, the speed of query responses and the readiness of your site for inspection, which together account for nearly every avoidable rejection and delay.
How do you charge?
A fixed professional fee per scope of work, quoted after we understand your requirement. Government fees are payable directly to the authority and are shown separately, never marked up.
Tell us what you are manufacturing. We will tell you what you need.
Share your product category, premises and turnover. You will get a written scope covering the exact licences that apply, the documents to arrange, and a realistic timeline.
